Running back Tyrone Moss, wideouts Ryan Moore and Rashaun Jones, and linebacker James Bryant will all miss the season opening clash with FSU. Moore will also miss the second game of the season against Florida A&M. He was also suspended for last year's Peach Bowl debacle as well.

Is it me, or is the Miami football program becoming somewhat of a mess? They go through all that controversy to sign troubled LB Willie Williams to their recruiting class, and 2 years later he's looking to transfer. A number of their players have character issues, and now 2 key starters have been suspended by the coach. Their star player, Brandon Merriweather, carries a gun around in his pocket. With signees like LaSean McCoy, it doesn't sound like it's going to get any better either as far as character goes. There just seems to be a dark cloud above that program now.

Miami is just trying to return to the glory days of their 1980s "convict" teams.
