Hard to even comprehend what a turnaround that Heupel has done in just 2 years. To not only be competitive but to pull this win off. Going from Dooley, to Butch, to Pruitt. Enjoy this ladies and gentlemen. As a fan base it's been a long time coming. I'll be honest not only didn't I expect this, but never dreamed a 2 year turnaround would be possible like this.

We don't have near the roster that Alabama and other elite teams do but this stat speaks volumes. I read where we had a walk on playing CB in that last Alabama series. Beating 4 top 25 teams is beyond any of our wildest dreams before the season started. when we get some dudes on this defense we will not believe what this Tennessee team can accomplish.

Doesn’t matter, the bulk of college fans will NOW say Tn hasn’t played anybody great this year just like after each win so far. They will say this Bama team isn’t as good as years past, or that the refs were against Bama(already are).
I’ve never seen so much goal post moving(except for tonight) in my life. Every week oh let’s see how they do against ______, meanwhile everyone else has at most won against only one ranked team.

Unfortunately - No. Georgia will be 1, Ohio State 2, Michigan 3 and if Clemons wins, they will stay 4 and The Big Orange will get bumped to 5 - the Coaches/AP will be more “impressed“ with the big day Michigan had and keep them ahead of us, and likely do the same with Clemson If they beat FSU. It stinks - but I’m pretty sure that’s what we’ll see around 2:00 PM tomorrow. Hope I am wrong of course.

But that said - nothing can take tonight away from Vol Nation - nothing can take away this win. I sure hope we maxed out on our star recruits visiting for the weekend. If you saw that in person, there is no way you want to play anywhere but UT.
