I know at times I can seem like a homer, but my lord that was a hell of a game last night. I am sick to my stomach that we couldnt pull it off, but WOW. I think it was said to be the longest College Bball game on record now. That's all fine and good but we needed to win. I am becoming more and more skeptical every day about this team. We need a confrence win badly.

No man, seriously, that was probablly the game of the year so far and we all missed it. Radio only last night. It sucked.

I think you were a little too confident about your Aggies being the 2nd best team in the big 12 and that they would only lose to the Jayhawks away.

I agree with you. I have been blinded by our success in the non confrence games. I still think we are a force to be reckoned with at home, but clearly Turgeon has work to do. He will get acclimated to the level of competition and we will be ok. Afterall, every team's confrence games are tough in the NCAA.

So now it is dubbed an instant classic and folks are screaming, "Get me a copy!" I guess it really was a big deal. Headline for SC, main topic on The Pulse with Doug Gotleive (sp?). Coach being interviewed every where by the media.....yeah I guess it was a big deal. They are still not going to the tourney. NIT more likely.

They already have 16 wins, one would think they could beat Iowa St, K St., TTU, OK, and Ok State all at home. Which would give them 21 wins at least.

The big dance is just as likely for the Bears as it is for the Aggies. Plus if the Aggies can't win away from home then there could be a nice couple of home games in mid-late March.

Also it's a big deal bc it was 5 OT and bc of what Baylor has gone through more than anything else.

Im not knocking it at all. My hat is off to the coaches and players of Baylor. Im just surprised at how it was not a huge deal to all the bball fans yesterday but after hearing it being discussed on every major sports radio show for the past 24 hours it seems to get a lot of attention. You are dead on about my aggies too. We HAVE to win at Reed, due to our instability on the road. Maybe Saturday against Okie State. Making the drive to Stillwater early in the morning myself.

It wasn't that big of a deal to basketball fans because no one could watch it, and obviously the highlights didn't do it justice.

Remember the 3 OT game between Ok St and Texas on ESPN last year? Well everyone saw that one, so it was easier to talk about.

Plus Mario Bogans and Durant had a classic duel, so that helped too.
