Parker underwent foot amputation surgery in late September and hasn't been with the team since being hospitalized Sept. 10 with back pain and issues related to his diabetes.

Today is the day Michigan State finally goes down. The last undefeated Big 10 team is coming to town and their defensive coordinator is back in the booth. I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa absolutely goes off on MSU. I'll be rooting for Michigan State but I'm predicting an Iowa win.

So Tennessee just went down by 14 with 3:30 left in the game. Cool.

Michigan State always comes in as an underdog while being rated high. We'll be fine we love not getting credit when its due. Go Sparty!

I'm on the Sparty Train, all my cousins are having a big party today, if not for the whole 1200 miles away thing I'd be there for sure.

So if Iowa is overrated and Kirk Ferentz is garbage, what does that say about Michigan State?

I really dislike both the university and Ferentz but they definitely don't get the respect the deserve. As much as I hate them, they are good football team and I'd be pissed if were them and read the things fans say about them.

Will be funny if they blow the game though.

Everyone around here thought MSU was going undefeated since they don't play Ohio State and now that they are down 30-0, everyone knew they weren't good. That's b.s.

Iowa is a good team and from everything I've seen, they'd be smashing both Florida/Georgia right now. True Story.

Florida needed the refs to beat them last time they played and they absolutely demolished South Carolina.

As much as I rub it in my friends faces(all Iowa fans), I see what they mean about people on the outside. Iowa is one of the most disrespected teams I've ever seen in my life.

ohio state is still best team in big ten. iowa is good but i just dont see them being a dominate national team.
they would beat both uga and florida true but lets see if thats the case after this year or even tennessee in a couple.

Ohio State is debatable. Iowa with a true freshman QB took them to overtime last year at Ohio State. I think both teams are about on par. I'll definitely be rooting for Ohio State though.

And yeah, they aren't going to be better than Georgia and Florida every year. Iowa is one of those teams that goes back and forth. They're usually at the bottom or at the top. They are rarely in the middle. That's just how they recruit and rebuild.

I can't stress enough how much I don't like the team, I just see how disrespected they are when they are actually good. Iowa is a good team that most people think are overrated. I'm not sure how they are overrated when they win with 3* recruits and send them to the pros.

Looks like a 1 loss SEC team will in fact be going to the BCS title game. Thanks Michigan State and Missouri. :thumbsup:

agreed, i dont care what any says about kirk ferentz. He's one of the best coaches in that nation. He takes guys like amari spievey 2 star pat angerer 2 star tyler sash 2 star riley reiff and countless other low rated players and turns them into NFL players and takes those low rated players and beats SEC teams and wins huge bowl games year after year
