This is a good win. Ole Miss almost beat Baylor. I really liked what Holly did at the beginning of the second half. I think that action got their attention and quickly.

Good win over an average (9-7) team. Excellent nights for Massengale, Harrison and Carter. GOOD assist to turnover ratio for team--much better. Russell didn't get many shots.

I really like the way Ariel has been more offensive-minded and that she is taking the ball to the basket more. A lot of the turnovers tonight looked like they were caused by players trying too hard to get the ball inside to the post players, which makes penetration by the guards important. Loved the effort of every Lady Vol who got in the game tonight.

Improved play tonight by the LV and a good win. They definitely weren't perfect but I thought their passing was improved (as seen by a better TO:Assist ratio). I LOVED that Coach Warlick benched 4 of em after a poor start to the second half and I liked what she said in the post-game interview. She wasn't happy and seemed to realize that they are just "getting by." She knows the way they're playing ain't gonna cut it. I'm sure she's known this all along but I'm grateful she said it out loud. Hopefully this will get the players' attention and they can improve.

Sorry if I am one of those whiners...Still amazes me that a player can shoot a three so wide open and we can't get a hand in her face, get within 3feet of her. The old saying...Fool me once, shame on you...Fool me twice, shame on me, is ever so true on a three point shooter!
