I'm going to call it now.

Washington gets upset in Berkeley.

Cal will most likely put up a lot of points, so they could win in a shootout. I was thinking about going hoping for the upset, I was there when they beat Texas earlier this season.

Washington isn't very good? I take it you don't watch a lot of P12 football.

No. I've watched them. They just play in a weak conference and have played nobody.

In terms of talent they are on par with South Carolina. 0 top 25 recruiting classes in the last 5 years.

6-8 teams in the SEC could beat them.

On par with South Carolina? You're a joke. They have multiple NFL picks on defense including two likely first round picks in their secondary. Jake Browning is one of the top five quarterbacks in the nation, they have one of the best running back combos in the country, a great offensive line, and a terrific wide receiver group led by John Ross. And of course one of the top five coaches in America. And please list those 6-8 SEC teams that would beat them.

Everything you've seen from Washington is against a Pac 12 schedule. And IMO the Pac 12 is a very weak conference this year. Note that the Pac 12 currently has a team (Washington State) that is undefeated in conference play after losing to an FCS team week 1 and a group of 5 team week 2.

Sorry but I need to see Washington play against a quality team in another conference first before believing in the hype.

Till then I'll stick with recruiting rankings. And in terms of on paper talent they are on par with South Carolina.

They are legit, they have won impressively this year. Certainly no one from the SEC East would beat them. Outside of Bama and possibly LSU, I don't know who in the SEC would beat them.

They have had no top 25 recruiting classes in the last 4 years. They have played no one worth a damn outside the Pac 12.

You can buy into them of you like. I won't until I see them play someone worth a damn from another conference.

Until then I'll fall back on recruiting rankings and assume that is where the team is in terms of quality.

Alabama
LSU
Auburn
Texas A&M
Tennessee
Florida
Ole Miss (maybe)
Arkansas (maybe)

LSU? Auburn? Tennessee? Texas A&M? Florida? Jesus now I know you're just a troll. And oh btw if recruiting rankings were the be-all end-all, why did Houston beat Oklahoma? How about Penn St beating Ohio State? How about South Carolina beating Tennessee? How about Mississippi State beating A&M today? Maybe coaching and player development means more than just pure talent.

this game was over the first time Cal had the ball and failed to score...that is how terrible their defense is

They are a good team but nowhere near as good as you and some others want to believe. They basically play nobody. P12 football sucks. They have, what 2 teams that are good? Washington and Washington State? Maybe Colorado. Give me a break.

They are likely going to destroy a terrible Cal tonight. A team with very little defense. I mean Cal is a joke.

Utah is still decent..I think USC can beat anybody in that conference and look what Bama did to them

Like seriously. The entire big 12 and Pac 12 should be barred from playing football due to their just atrocious defenses. It is a complete disgrace.

Had to wait for a mediocre pass, which he could, with such terrible defense.

I'll say it again. Top half of SEC teams beat Washington like a red headed step child.

Part of it is UW's success from the early 90's. That '91 team was very good. People want to believe they are back in that form.

Not quite.
