6 College Football Programs Headed For Disaster

for the link impaired.

Baylor, because they okayed rape.
Ole Miss, because they finally got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Michigan State, because the two historical powers are back to being relevant at the same time.
Penn State/Maryland, because they play OSU, UM and MSU and don't have good coaches.
Texas A&M, because they haven't found another Manziel.

Funny article. I agree with Baylor and penn state dropping off. A&M, we'll see. Ole Miss will still be good this season and will continue to be good, until the NCAA drops the hammer.

I agree, but I'll be surprised if the ncaa does anything.

They have already self imposed a loss of 11 scholarships and the NCAA will definitely add to that considering that new information has surfaced in a very high profile manner (the Tunsil draft night admission). Ole Miss football is not a sacred cow. The cynicism that is justified toward the NCAA's reluctance to hit major athletic departments with severe penalties simply does not apply to them... and as far as this season is concerned, I think Ole Miss loses a minimum of 4 games, possibly 5. They play a brutal schedule and they did lose a lot of talent. I think they lose to Florida State, Georgia, Alabama (no way they beat the Tide a 3rd straight year) and LSU (on the road) and possibly Arkansas (also on the road).

They're getting ready to take a big recruiting hit. They'll be good this year, but they then likely drop back to a 7-8 win territory IMO.

OM is on borrowed time. Baylor will probably drop quicker but the conference schedule will not be as bad as OM.

OM is in the wrong division to slide very much. Wouldn't take much to drop them to last in the west.

So this is millennial journalism eh? O.K. I'll play and say michigan state traditionally gives O state FITS and I think harbaugh will find him to be a tough fight. Seems it's already gone that way last year. Dantonio is just now learning how to play out of conference and the exposure in other areas will give him recruiting clout. He's a damn fine coach, just needs more out of conference experience.

Texas A&M, because they have to play us (UT) this year.

FYP.

Sorta.

Kinda kidding, but not really. (Was OK to see us in the list of people that they "have to play", thus will have a rough year.)

6-21 over the last 40 years doesn't really scream traditionally giving fits IMO

Oline in jail, new QB that has shown nothing except he doesn't belong at QB, and ehuglife kiffen taking affect. Saban rumored thinking about other options in life ....
