The No. 6 Lady Vols led for much of the second half, but No. 1 Baylor took the lead late in the second half and went on to a 76-67 win before an electric crowd at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Sorry about Pat's condition, but she sure hasnt' gotten the most out of this group. they have five players who would be the star player on all but two teams in the country. Pat is not fitting the pieces together. Griner is great, but Pat can put five great players on the floor at the same time.

The ladies played really well today for the most part. Griner was the only difference in this game. She took over in the second half and we couldn't stop her. Without Griner, we win this game. I don't know why any of you would be down on this team after their performance today. They played tough and led most of the game. Baylor has the most dominant player in the game and she took over in the last 10 minutes.

Pat needs to recruit a dominant inside presence. I know players like Griner are very few and far between but the Lady Vols are lacking that dominant inside player that I believe could take them to the next level. Baugh and Johnson are good, and I believe Harrison will be good too, but we need a player like Parker and Anosike were. We need that dominant inside force that will take over a game.

I love Pat. I'd say we're doing about the best we can all things considering. Don't count us out of it yet.
