I cannot understand why we did not recruit Brooke Copeland she is a good player. She recently said she was not recruited by UT.

Granted I haven't done extensive research on this particular situation, but at a glance, Florida currently has a losing record overall @ 11-12 plus they are 3-7 in the SEC. The player in question has only started 8 of their 23 games and is 6th in average minutes per game averaging 5.1 points per game. My guess is that we're looking for a higher caliber player.

^^^ We cannot recruit every home-grown player like B. Copeland to come to TN. We just can't for obvious reasons. I bet she was not as highly touted in HS, and that's why TN passed on her. TN seems to get only the best in-state player year in and year out, and let others go. And then these neglected in-state players go off to out-of-state school, develop, and sometimes even blossom into a significant player over time. And when TN plays their school, they go off, have a field day, and play like an AA. Have seen it happen too many times. Not just in WBB but in all sports. C'est la vie.

Brooke went to the same high school as Brittany Jackson and scored more than 2000 points in her career at Bradley Central High school and she can rebound and shoot the three. If you have been watching the LV's lately I'm sure you would agree that both of those are skills we could use right now. Just saying.......
