The good thing is we won, but it was anything but a pretty game. The next four games will tell you loads about our girls and where we stand with the big girls. If we can go through the next four games and only lose one game we will be able to say for sure we are a very good team.However we have to play much better than we did tonight. It wasn't our best but as I said it is a win. Our defense is solid which is a big plus. Keep it going Holly and Lady Vols, not every win will be pretty.

I think your comments are on point.

And it is true they will need to play better against ND but they also needed to play better against Auburn than they did against Arkansas and they played way better against Texas A&M.

My point is that every game has it own dynamics and it is not as though the standard of play from one game necessarily crosses over to another. Heck, the with LVs this season, the level of play in the first does not necessarily cross over the second (and given their slow start tendencies, that is a very good thing).

The LVs have been playing good defense but I think there intensity has slipped a bit and they will need to find that extra fire for ND but against a top-flight opponent, I expect they will (My optimism, realistic or not, is boundless).

I wish we could, but unfortunately I believe we are over matched. LVs aren't coached hard enough anymore. Enough raw talent, but don't have the want to.

you don't earn the number 6 rating in the country from a lack of coaching

don't make a mistake thinking the Lady Vols are over matched,it will take a great effort from the coaches and team to pull out a win for sure,but i do believe they have it in them

Go Lady Vols :pepper::pepper::pepper::pepper::3cheers::baloon::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks:

Regardless of what some people say this has been a better season thus far than last season. The main reason is that we broke through against Stanford a team we hadn't beaten in a while. Were also off to a great start in SEC play. The bad news is we have to play at SC but overall I think this team is getting better valuing the basketball more. Last year we never made it to that point.
