See, that's why we lost to Vandy and South Carolina. It was for the good of the conference.

Yep, it was all part of a Conspiracy. It was Tennessee's year to lose a couple of games "for the Conference". H**I the SEC office knows who killed Kennedy.

Just shows how strong the east is this year, we should be thankful to Coach Jones for doing a great coaching job getting us to 8 wins considering the depth of the division.

Mississippi St should NEVER have been invited! They were 5-7! NO team with a losing record goes. They are one of three teams with losing records. The other two: Hawaii at 6-7 and Texas St at 5-7.😳👎

They didn't have enough eligible teams. Three losing teams got in last year, too. Better get used to it, since it looks like they'll be adding bowls within the next few years.

SEC teams really need to win lots of these bowl games to improve the "down" image of the SEC.

For bowl game purposes Army is 5-5. They played to FCS opponents and you can only count 1.

They'll likely be 5-6 after Saturday.

This means it's not?

Logic would say its not. Think about it. Even in the 90's a team needed 6 wins to get to a bowl game. Yet there has never been a season where this many East teams made a bowl game. Until this season. There were years in the 90's and 2000's where teams like SC, UK and Vandy never won a game. So basically, those 3 teams have been, for the vast majority, terrible for about 25 years. Historically, the East has been a 2-3 game division ruled by UT, UGA and UF. Yes there have been outlier years but one cannot argue that those 3 teams have dominated the East.

So logic would tell you that the East is not only, NOT as weak as ever, but possibly stronger than ever. How so? By the way of the W/L records.
