According to a retweet by her college coach on Feb. 18, her recruitment was "still open" at that time.
I don't think we've ever signed anyone with her body type before, but Sims was brutally effective for Palm Beach State College this season. She averaged 17.9 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, hitting almost 61% of her FG attempts and shooting under 50% in just 3 games. Last year she averaged 16.5 points and 14.1 rebounds per game.

Sims was named 1st-team Class AAAAA all-state coming out of Charles Drew HS in Riverdale, GA, where she averaged 23 points and 14 rebounds per game her senior year. She had good grades in HS (3.38 GPA) and is said to be a great leader.

I suspect Sims' size is the only thing keeping her from getting some big-time offers. But if you want someone with good hands who can hit layups, grab tons of rebounds and not get shoved around in the paint, she'll give you all that.
