Volnaiton showed up in force yesterday and set a new Stadium record for a college event at Nissan Stadium. What was supposed to be a “neutral” site game, quickly turned into another home game for the Vols. Not only did Volnation show up, but we also seen Kamara, Kennedy Chandler, and Josh Dobbs attend the game. Josh was the Nissan Heisman House guest speaker. Fun times!!!

The old record was the 2021 Music City Bowl. Vols now have the top 2 highest attended games in stadium history.

Where's that fella who was complaining about Ticketmaster having thousands of unsold tickets just a couple of days before the game that magically disappeared so they could resell them at a higher price than they weren't selling for before?

Or something like that, I didn't really understand his complaint. All I know is, he seemed to be saying there would be TONS of empty seats.

Welll...Go Vols! Good job, Vol Nation!

Looked pretty full from my view.

Nissan stadium holds 69, 143, how do you get 69,507 when I know there were empty seats in the upper deck ? I have never quite understood the "Sold Out" vs Who actually shows up thing.

If some resale artists get stuck with tickets AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN PAID FOR, and no seat goes unsold it is a sellout. Not rocket science.

UT Athletics said 69,507 fans were in attendance to watch the Volunteers take on the University of Virginia Cavaliers, the largest crowd for a sporting event in the stadium’s history. The record breaks the previous one, which was also upheld by a Tennessee football event. The 2021 Music City Bowl matchup against Purdue brought in an impressive 69,489, according to UT Athletics. Not a very good reflection on the Titans though.

Titans have had many sellouts. I suspect this attendance counting has to do more with the band and cheerleaders than anything. Meaning, I suspect they count the band members who may not all have an individual seat. And the cheerleaders who don't have seats at all. Considering that POTS has their largest band ever, it would make sense that this allowed them to exceed 2021.

Lets not make this another "Titans spit in the face of Vols" thread. Pro and College are 2 different games. Mike Keith is a VFL and the voice of the Titans. It's all good to like both. UT needs middle Tennessee and Middle Tennessee needs the Vols. It's all good!

Fun experience from the game: while there were not many VA fans there, we had about 10+ I. The row in front of us. A bunch of young alum who were all in the same frat together. Had an absolute blast with them. Yeah they trashed talked but us was all in good fun. They took talk well. They were all excited when #44 came in to play TE. He evidentially was a frat brother. They said his freshman year after pledging developed some sort of disease/sickness involving iron so he couldn’t drink. He decided if he couldn’t drink he was going to work out the walk on the fb team. Guy not only made the team but earned a scholly. The said if you saw his pics from fresh year vs sr year you’d swear he was on steroids.
