ESPN is saying 7, including 4 in their top 300 have put in papers asking for release.

So is this a "who can we get" thread?

Because if not, it's soon going to turn into a "who can we get" thread.

Though I think the suit against UT sounds like a bunch of BS.... the fact that it is out there makes UT an unlikely destination for any of those guys.

Exactly what I was going to post. Even though it's not comparable, they won't touch a program with a suit against them.

What about programs with coaches on the hot seat - like AM and Texas ?

My fault. Should have put this in the "Around the NCAA" forum but figured people would have plenty to say and I don't visit that one enough! Sorry Freak!!!!

No big deal. Was it moved? Was it meant to be a Baylor news thread or a "could anybody these guys end up at Tennessee" thing?

If Baylor doesn't release them I doubt the NLI board will either. This is one of the worst things about college athletics. I understand a kid sign with a "school" but the Head Coach is one of the biggest influences a kids decision. I understand why the rule is in place but in situations such as this the rule needs to be changed. Hope these kids end up where they really want

Baylor should let them go. Holding them to their NLI will only make the bad press worse.
