Texas has played 4 SEC teams plus a PAC-12 team for a total of 9 games, all on the road and/or neutral sites and gone 6-3 in that stretch. Not to mention playing a very good TX State team and splitting. They’ve played one of the more impressive schedules in the country thus far. They’re no doubt deserving of their ranking. In fact, the case for them to be ranked as high as they are, is the very arguments we all made in favor of the BasketVols being seeded higher.

Rankings mean very little to me at this point. Better to play with a chip on your shoulder because you're feeling disrespected as opposed to being #1 and holding the wolves off.

As for Joyce....9 pitches last night (8 strikes/1 ball) and 21 pitches the other night when he threw 2 innings. South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Vandy...now that will be the test for this team and these individuals at this point.
