Interception but a pass interference on the defense (never looked for the ball) after USC’s QB manages to scramble around to avoid the pressure. Automatic first down.

But because of the return during the play, more time ran off and it’s now 8 seconds left. Ball at the USC 30.

Oh wow. Because the refs acknowledged that they messed up with the clock during the return, USC gets 13 seconds instead of 8?
