Kenny George Makes An Impression For the Bulldogs :: Sophomore center has blocked 12 shots in four games

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The University of North Carolina-Asheville men’s basketball team has perhaps the most effective inbounds play in the country: the Bulldogs’ point guard lofts the ball high toward the basket, and center Kenny George either tips it in or dunks it, without leaving his feet, as his opponents leap in vain.

Thoughts?

On Speilman's show today they were talking about how Tyler Hansbrough looked like a midget next to him.

That struck me as funny.

TH did look like a midget, but he dunked on big Kenny

Guys a freak...you'd think this pic was photoshopped.

I would recruit him and put him on my football team. He could block kicks all day long. Also, he seems to be developing a bit, I hope he can get a shot at basketball overseas

The guy will get a look at the NBA not just overseas... just because of his size whether he developes even more or not. At time his defense is just dominating when it comes to blocks. Will he make a team? Who knows - probably not if he doesn't improve a lot.

I felt bad for him when T. Hans dunked on him. They showed him look down in shame after it happened because I'm sure everyone there was heckling him after it.

I normally don't feel so bad for atheltes at the college level, but he's an exception. The poor guy was probably forced to play basketball when he was a young kid

It makes me sleepy just watching him try to run up the court. On defense all he does is stand under the basket but then again, I guess that's all he has to do.

Don't be so ignorant to post in a thread and not read the title or the article. It clearly says he's 7' 9" in shoes...

I didn't see it and was just skimming. it's still a stretch to say he's 7'9 in shoes.

Possibly 7'8 in shoes but its still a stretch to call him 7'9 (in shoes) because he's in between 7'6 and 7'7. Everything is exaggerated when it comes to basketball.

whether he's 7'8 or 7'9 in shoes matters so little it's incredible.

My friend from high school plays for montreat college (tiny school), and they played UNC-A

He's about 6'6'' and athletic... He's the one guarding him underneath.
YouTube - Kenny George Dunk 1 (7'8" 360 lbs)

then again, he does that to everybody. almost.
