Aren't we the only ( or possibly 1 of 2 ) teams left in Divison 1 that have not lost 8 games in a season. Seems I remember that from the past.

The way this team has set records (some negative) I hope this isnt a new one they add to this season's memory.

Ain't gonna happen, GO VOLS Crush those Kittens !!!

We are one of the few (I think Ohio State is another) that has not lost 8 games in a season ever. Would be nice for the seniors to avoid that mark this weekend.

So they can say with pride, "We beat UK in order for UT to remain one of a few teams that never lost 8 games in a season."?

Wow! What has UT become? That's really sad, but it is something to play for, I guess.

Tennessee and Ohio State are the only two programs who have never lost 8. We need to keep that intact.

Just let that soak in.... Well past 100 years of tradition and this is one of the few times we've even been close. The players MUST protect this record.

This has been my only concern for the season since the Miss State loss.

I like that some players see this as a bounce back game after they embarrassed themselves against Vandy. We are at home, the distraction of Dooley is gone, Kentucky has nothing to play for and very little talent. I think we out talent them and win big. But I've been wrong about everything all season, so who knows.

I also hope I'm wrong on Gruden, because I'm a big doubter there.

eh 7 beat downs or 8, does it really matter? Those are one of those stats / records that is handled by the Aflac duck and never come up but in the middle of football games at the bottom of your screen. In fact, if Tennessee didn't suck so bad this year, a lot would have never known this anyways.

I vote no fake punts from our own 20 against KY. Go for 2 everytime we score and if we are in FG range, run a flea flicker.

I was wrong about Vandy, but I'm going to say that it would take an effort about 10 times worse than the Vandy game to lose to UK.

Tennessee and Ohio State are the only two that never lost more than 7 games in one season. It will be interesting to see how they play with out Dooley compared to how they played with him...

Of course it is. At lease keep one positive streak alive this year.

Thanks for verifying this. I remember a few short years ago there were 3 and somebody lost. ( michigan??) I wasnt sure if ohio st was the other or not.

Regardless. GO VOLS lets keep this one intact.

We will not lose for two reasons: 1) seniors really care and want to leave on a high note and 2) Bray, Hunter and CP will be auditioning for the draft. I hope ZRogers, Rivera, Lathers and Waggner have great games.
