#8 Missouri vs Kentucky (ESPNU, Noon)

Good start for the Cats. Really needed 7 there.

And a fumble recovery by Kentucky on the ensuing kickoff.

It wasn't a successful 3rd down play, but I can see why people run screens on Missouri; that defensive line plays extremely aggressive.

Cats have to get more production on offense. 3 and outs is a recipe for worn out defense.

UK follows up a 13 yard punt by having one blocked at their own 4 yard line.

TD Missouri 14-3 at the start of the 2nd

Missouri fumbles the punt return, UK recovers it, and takes it inside the Mizzou 10 yard line. That's the returner Murphy's second fumble today.

Oh and there were two penalties on each side (illegal formation on UK; holding off Mizzou) so the play never happened

...surprisingly they still played the down but said it was still Missouri's ball to keep

oh wait, now they're saying replay 4th down

And now they're reviewing the play

#15
#15
...and they're trying to enforce the penalty after the play?

Ok, this is a clusterf--- by the referees.

And now they're replaying 4th down.

Lol, his explanation made no sense though.

Missouri's returner Murphy is off the field though. Missouri ball at their own 13.

Oh. Replay shows Mizzou fumbled on that kickoff return. Clearly. SURELY they give this to Kentucky.

But there was illegal formation on UK and a penalty on Mizzou. So ... Tigers keep the ball. I don't get it.

I can see the shade of Stoops' face and the spittle flying in the ref's face from the press box.

Official says they're replaying fourth down ... and reviewing the previous play.

RT @MattMayKY: @jenheraldleader @KyleTucker_CJ Audio on replay clearly indicates whistles didn't blow until after UK picked up the ball.

Basically, since UK committed foul at the snap, they can't get the fumble recovery. Replaying fourth down. Holy Stoops Argue.

Stoops is all over these officials. Baseball style. Someone hand him second base to throw.

Michael Sam also left the game and went to the locker room...I think I saw he came back out though

Mizzou might have just lost one of its RBs to injury after he hurdled a UK player and got flipped over.

And UK drives downfield and scores on its first drive of the second half.

Now 28-10 Missouri with 9:24 left in the 3rd.

TD Missouri. Green-Beckham's 3rd of the game. 35-10 Missouri with 6:13 left in the 3rd quarter.

Kentucky Sports - CJ@KyleTucker_CJ
That's five catches for 84 yards and three TD for Green-Beckham, all of the throw-it-up-and-I-got-it variety.

That was 6-6, 225-pound DGB over 5-11, 187 Cats safety Eric Dixon. It's 35-10 Mizzou, 6:13 third.

What has to suck for Missouri fans, is knowing that had they not blown a 17 point 4th quarter lead against SC, they'd be clinching the SEC East today.
