8 Post Season Thoughts (Common Sense)

1.) We were a handful of plays away from being bowl eligible. It makes me sick, but it gives me hope for the future.

2.) Freshmen will be H-U-G-E next year. I am glad that Hurd elected to sit out his senior year for surgery to be fresh for Tennessee.

3.)February 5th should be a fun day for us.

4.)Butch did good this year. He got a win against a top 10 team. While putting together an unreal class.

5.)Playing Florida later in the year next year is going to benefit us I think.

6.)I expect CBJ to get us to bowl eligible next year.

7.)Dobbs would definitely be the kind of QB that CJB would want to run his offense. The kid can read the option, and can make some good runs. He just isn't the most accurate.

8.)I am hoping Furgie can pull a Johnny Football next year.

A lot of teams will be starting new QBs next year. At least we have a couple with real game experience.

We will have more speed hopefully

WRs will be better with a year of experience under their belt and another spring and summer to sync with QBs

7-5 or better season with some breaks. Only concern is replacing a lot of people especially the line

Call me crazy but I saw a change in Dobbs toward the end of the 3rd qtr.. He was much more confident and accurate with underrated wheels. This kid might be special with a couple of breaks. Whether he steps up or not remains to be seen; otherwise, Ferguson may be the future.

I couldn't agree more. It looked like the kid had grown up so much. It made a world of difference when he was given time to throw the ball. All the off-season can do is help him gain confidence and get better.

I don't understand why everyone says dobbs isn't accurate. He threw for 59% completion % Worley was around 55% having dobbs out there opens the playbook a little more with the zone read. At least with dobbs he can hit a 5 yard out pass without 1 hopping the ball to the WR it, will be dobbs or fergie next year! playing for the future in 2014 so by 2015 we have a soild QB

Wth are you talking about? Hire Butch for what? Where is Saban going? Not Texas just because of one loss. He doesn't have ties there. He went to Kent St. This is ludicrous.

Of course we will get Saban when Butch leaves for Bama. That is if we don't get Gruden first. Lovie Smith will be our D Coordinator and John Ward will come out of retirement to be our radio guy again. Oh, and Peyton is going to retire to become our AD.

I hate to say it because it is so Dooleyesq but...the rebuilding starts in 2014. Next year we will have a team loaded with freshmen. They are a great class but it is hard for freshman to compete in the SEC. Plus, our schedule is tough. In order to get 6 wins we will have to win two games in our games against: Okla, UGA, FL, MISS, MIZZ, USC, Bama and Vandy.

We could improve as a team and still only win 4 or 5 games. Here is to Vandy and Florida sucking next year and/or 2015.

We are ONE incompetent SEC official away from being bowl eligible! I HATE REPLAY!!
