And the worst sportsmanship ever....

I mean really...what do you gain from that?

I think the hockey one is worse...when was the last time someone scored 10 goals in hockey...77 or so points in football happens about once a year.

In international tournaments that play a minimzed round robin format, the answer is "a lot".

The first tiebreaker when seeding for a medal round is points in the standings; the next one is goal differential. So if the team atop each pool ended up 5-0-0, the higher seed (with the more advantageous matchups all through the medal round) goes to the one with the greater goal differential.

I've never seen something like that in hockey before.

However, Australia defeated American Samoa 31-0 in soccer a few years back, which is like about 200-0 in American Football.

And just recently, there was a girls basketball game in which the winning team won 100-0. Sad thing is, that the winning team was a christian denomination school.

Christians can't win in blowouts and run up the score... in a game? Only non-believers can?

What chapter/verse is that in?

Thou shall not busteth the clock?

That's not exactly what I meant. I'm just sayin, it's weird that a Christian school would run up the score.

Compassion is a large virtue most Christians believe in. For a Christian academy school to completely demoralize a team like that is absolutely asinine. They were still shooting three pointers up until the final buzzer of the 4th quarter.
