How does he activate his Life Alert pendant whilst wearing his Starter jacket?

I seem to be in the minority here, but i love the fact that Joe will still get out there and coach. He loves doing it, he ain't gonna get fired.

The day he retires he'll probably croak on the spot. The old man truly loves the game, you have to admire that. Needs to stay out of the way of his players though , he keeps getting run over.

Well, the university has obviously decided that Joe Pa is bigger than the program. That's fine. If thats what they want and if Joe Pa wants to keep coaching, who am I to say he shouldn't. I do think it's sad that he can't see that for the good of the program he should retire but, oh well. I hope he recovers.

It was only 2-3 years ago that he broke his leg in a similar incident. Those kind of injuries can be the end of someone that age.

He's one of the rare instances where it's true.

I like it hit, shows he loves the game. I think the saddest thing would be if they fired or let him go.

I believe he has said he is afraid that he will die, like Bear Bryant, as soon as he retires.
