I don't see how it's possible for anyone to have a tougher schedule than we had this year.
I'll need to see lots of solid proof of that claim.
#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!
You might be eating crow on this one too. Utah State and Arkansas State are much better than APSU and Western KY. At OK not much different than at Oregon. Road games with GA, SC, Vandy, and Ole Miss. Ole Miss is no Auburn this year, but they will be very tough. Not to mention FL, Bama, and MO. Only game that was a better swap was South Alabama for UTC. Some Vol fans in Chattanooga might disagree.

Well if that is the way you feel just shut the program down...go watch Cunzo try to coach...now that should be real exciting for ya...:clapping:
Yep, we're going to have a tough schedule next year and the year after and the year after. That's SEC football. The schedule isn't going to get easier, so the players and coaches have to get better.
True. Bama, Florida, Georgia, and SC are always going to be there. The problem is the non-conference schedule. Vandy has 4 gimmes next year while we play much tougher teams. Cost us a bowl game this year and could next. You can play a respectable team without having to play OR or OK (i.e. NC State, VA Tech, UNC, etc.). GA has played top teams too and it bit them. You rarely see Bama play a top non-conference team and it hasn't cost them on strength of schedule. It wouldn't have cost OSU this year either if they hadn't lost to Sparty. I hope Hart is smarter about scheduling than Hammy was.

UT is 1-2 against those teams recently, so I'm not sure what your point is.
As far as Bama goes, they've played VT, Penn State and Michigan recently.
As someone said earlier, it's how you lose (when you lose). UT was simply blown out 4 times this year. I would rather see UT be competitive against Oklahoma than beat Austin Peay. (NO, I'M NOT SAYING I WOULD RATHER SEE UT LOSE!). IMO, it's more of a guage of where UT is as a program. If next year is going to be a struggle anyway, struggle and get better against good teams.
Come 2015-16, they'll be ready.
Actually Ark St, since Freeze and Gus left weren't quite as good this year . In fact Western Ky beat Arkansas St . Utah St while a bowl team basically lost to the better teams they played . If we are going to improve from last year we have to win these games .There really will be no excuse to lose either of these games
