9 Game SEC Schedule?

The fewer out-of-conference games that are played, and especially the fewer meaningful out-of-conference games that are played, the harder it becomes to objectively weigh teams from different conferences against each other. Imagine if all the SEC and Big Ten did was schedule games in conference? How would you go about deciding who is #1 and #2? I say 8 is enough. That's 2/3 of the regular season.

I feel like what we're eventually moving towards is the "Super Conference;" where we would have 9 or 10 game conference schedules, every conference plays a championship game, and the champ game winners duke it out for the NC.
