I see and feel that they like each other and that is huge. A very special trait for "special teams" and that starts at the top and trickles all the way down the chain. Go Vols!!!

They seem happy all the time, no pressure. Just play ball.

Chemistry. And it starts with Heupel. The chemistry he’s developed here in such a short amount of time is infectious. Bleeds over into every facet of the team as they follow his lead and take on his persona. I love it!

Egos in check. Keeping their eyes on the goal at hand. Trusting the system. More than the sum of the parts thinking. And so many other positive attributes that result from great coaching. If I was having any more fun I'd have to be twins.

This team never gives up, you could tell when the season started they were not sure what they were as a team. After the Pitt win (on the road) they believed more, then came the FL win at home. After they withstood the FL comeback they knew they could win and now after beating Bama this team is primed for for anything. We have to get through UT Martin and KY to get to GA. That is the one everyone has circled on their calendar now.

No quit, all team like family, determined, having fun. Watching the baseball team, It was easy to see how playing loose and enjoying the game helps. The Lady Vols, basketball team and football team have bought into this theme and results are easy to see.

What I’ve noticed is that when the players are interviewed, they act and talk like this isn’t something new. They talk and carry themselves like a team that has been good for a long time.
