They'll be in pretty good shape to win the SEC East again.

East:

1a. USC
1b. UGA
1c. UF
1d. UT
5. UK
6. Vandy

Top 4 should all be within 1-2 games of each other for its conference record. 2-3 conference losses might even get you a trip to Atlanta

Clowney has the same attitude. He says he's going to start and make plays the second he steps on campus. He very well may do that but he's got a big mouth so far.

They still are and always will be South Carolina. Spurrier has turned the ship but it isn't heading anywhere. They do have some athletes, but Spurrier has about 3-4 good years of coaching left. They'll never make the BCS or a Title game.

Them having Clowney makes me less excited for our guys to play them. That said, SEAL is right.

That's fine...the only reason that the shamecocks are a contender (SEC) now is because TN has sucked since 2005 and it has allowed them to recruit their own state better. Back before 2005, UT would raid SC for the best players as would the rest of the SEC. The state of SC has always had good receivers and defensive lineman and they usually lost these players to other schools, now they are keeping them in state.

This kid can play and I have no doubt he'll back his mouth up. It'll take constant double team to stop him. Don't get me wrong I'm TN through and through, but SC is looking tough.

Hope we can keep keeping them.

They gotta prove it to me. Until then, I have no respect.

The kid is a future stud and will make an impact on the first day. That being said, Id rather him be a cock than a bammer.

Let's see if Clowney actually gets in to college first. But the cocks should feel pretty good about next season. They won't win the SEC but I wouldn't be surprised if they won the east. I don't think their success will last more than a couple of seasons though.

cocks will win the SEC 8 times this decade.....

agree, guy can recruit but it took him time, if he will let his QB play with out the fear of being benched i think he will win alot more but wont beat vols anymore for next 4 years:loco:

"Citing two people familiar with Clowney’s academic record, an article in The New York Times on Saturday questioned whether he will qualify. In the article, Troy Davis, the coach at Hargrave Military Academy, a postgraduate school in Chatham, Va., said he had reviewed Clowney’s transcript and described it as comparable to those of other players who did not meet the NCAA’s requirements. Davis told The New York Times that Clowney’s transcript had “a lot of D’s on there” and one of Clowney's teachers told the newspaper that “he may play it down to the line about qualifying.”

I think this guy is a one and done in the SEC.

You have to stay at least 3 academic years in football.
