So my son-in-law recently went to a conference in Houston put on by the large co. he works for.

Low and behold the main speaker was Jon Gruden.

After his speech he had a question/answer session and was asked about the TN job. He sad he was honored to be considered but really has no interest in returning to coaching. He likes his current gig.

Someone also asked about CBJ and he said TN made a great hire and that in next couple years TN will be VERY happy with Butch!

Thought it was pretty classy.

Gruden loves us ! i dont blame him for staying at his job.. plus i think it worked out better than most could imagine for us with getting Butch .. Butch is the perfect fit here and glad things turned out the way they did.

Why wouldn't he like his current gig. I bleed orange, but if I were in his shoes, I would've stayed in the broadcast booth too. Similar amount of money, and a whole lot less stress.

Would have signed the #1 class....beaten Oregon to a pulp with power of Chucky scowl...Gators and Dawgs?-please...we'd be all Smokey unis all the time...and NO GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN...oh what could have been if Hart would have thrown in a free Sports Illustrated subscription :)

I find it a bit disturbing that you have a daughter old enough to be married and your avi is a pic of AJ McCarron's girlfriend.....:unsure:

Plus, he thinks ESPN hates UT so that certainly means he's young at heart.

Perhaps the OP is no homo. Us old dogs like us some young ladies too. She is legal so what's your point?
