Rumor has it he looking to transfer. The schools mentioned were UVA, Kansas, and Minn. I would think if true UT would be after him. Anyone heard anything on this yet.

A QB who is scared of competition and getting better?? No thanks. He can keep his ego away from UT, IMO.

Jesse Scroggins?? :dance2:

I don't think I understand what you are saying. Corp is a year older than Barkeley. Scroggins will probably RS and be a freshman when Barkeley is a JR. Meaning Scroggins will have a legit shot to be the starting QB either his Soph or Jr. year.... as we have seen in the NFL, you don't need to play 4 or even 3 years at USC to get a good chunk of money in the NFL... Hell, you don't even have to start at USC to become a starting QB in the NFL! haha

Corp seems to be a bust though. He was REALLY highly touted coming to USC, I hate it for the guy really.

Scroggins will be starting for the USC scout team, if his under armour game performance is any indication of his ability.

oh ok, yeah i completely agree... which is why i understand why he would want to transfer to kansas or minnesota or some other 2nd tier BCS school. Once you know you aren't going to make it to the next level, might as well go somewhere to have some fun and play for your remaining years.... Still confused as to why Mustain chose USC and stayed there. More confused that he was able to go undefeated as a freshman in the SEC and then just disappeared.

Just because Corp cannot beat Barkley out , does not mean he can't play. He would probably be a starter for alot of teams. Maybe not UT with Bray coming in though. Wouldn't Corp have to sit out year , if he transfers? I don't think transferring is a bad thing for Corp, he just needs to go to the right school.

As far as Scroggins goes, he is in good shape after a RS year and he could start as a RS sophmore after Barkley leaves.

i've never seen a qb performance worst than corps against UW. he had tons of time, the oline was giving hte rbs huge holes, yet he sucked really really bad. if you can't beat out a true freshman as mediocre as barkley what does that say?

UVA, Kansas, Minn? What were the UCSB fighting Gauchos not looking for someone to hold a clipboard?

This has been rumored ever since Barkley was named the starter.

I don't think he'll transfer but that's JMO.

He is on the bench behind a freshman.

It's not that he is scared of competition. It's that he has no shot at this point of jumping Barkley on the depth chart.

They only way he plays is if Barkley gets hurt.

Can't blame him for looking at other options.
