A couple thoughts on today's game.

I'd like to first start off by saying I'm supremely impressed with the Defense(I'll capitalize that because they deserve it)! That's two games in a row so far where they've held strong, stuck together, and actually looked like a high rated Defense. Keep it up guys!!

While I'm definitely excited that we won the game I'm bummed about the offense. I don't know if that was poor play calling or the offense just gave up? We pretty much didn't score the majority of the second half, save the field goal by Medley. We clearly have a first AND second half defense but the offense needs to step it up and quick. I can't tell you how badly I wanted us to get just one more touchdown to completely shut the game down, and we could have done it. I was screaming at the tv. To the offense and Medley thanks for scoring 34 points today but it needs to be stepped up.

The lack of scoring in the second half is from not necessarily running what is best but working on things at game speed that needs improvement. Just my opinion. Now, if we have a lead like that against a more quality opponent we stay on the gas

How do you figure this? We gave up 3 touchdowns to a freakin' Sunbelt Conference team!!! What do you think OK, UGA, AL, and Ole Miss are gonna do to us if a Sunbelt team can do that? That was not a great performance on D by any means.

We will have a plan for this saturday. We were not going to show much the second half. We will have to get the ball to our play makers quickly based on where we are with with the offensive line. We will be ready to play. I hope we can make a game of it.

um, how do you figure this?...we gave up yards to a team who won their conference for 3 years and still won..look to our resent history , we finally stopped a running qb/wr(acting qb) we had a bad day(heat) and still won. dudley made us a sun belt team..we just beat there best for three years on a hot humid day...go home and suck on your bottle, we are moving on up..next week we may loose but my god for the first time..we have a chance..a small chance but we have a chance.

1. Sutton is our best player and future NFL 1st rounder
2. Todd Kelly jr may start against Ok
3. OL is soft.. Nobody is playing with a mean attitude

All of this all day long. If this were last year I really think we would either be 0-2 or 1-1. Also if this was last year, I would be saying we have no chance against OU.

The last two SEC teams that played Arky State gave up some TD's to them. Both of those schools went on to have good seasons.

told my dad, i think today was is first time playing besides on special teams..i hope i was not wrong..the first quarter we had to listen on the radio..brought up so many memories !!!

You are correct sir... The running ge was pretty base stuff it makes me think that they have not even kinda opened up the offensive run package.

No he played almost all the third quarter and on te Utah state game.

I got home from work at 8 and just watched the recording of the game and I gotta say, I honestly don't see what some of you are complaining about. I watched a very young team play exceptionally well against a 3 year sun belt champion team that played very well today. Granted its sun belt, but they are better than mediocre and left it all on the field and we still dominated. We did fall a little flat in the 2nd half, but to me it looked like we could have ran the score up, but instead chose conservative play calling and practice for players that needed more touches. I'm happy with today's performance and am still optimistic about next week. I'm not delusional enough to think that we will win against OU, but I also don't think they will blow us out and I do think we at least have a chance. We look a hell of a lot better than we have in a few years past and considering our young ball team, that's saying something. I for one am very excited. We have great things to look forward to in our future. Go Vols!

Must mean that UT is darn good. #11 UCLA has given up 3 TDs to Memphis in the 1st half.
