Both of our teams have struggled this year and failed to meet at least our aspirations for them if not our expectations.

But, I have to say I cannot remember a year when there were so many exciting and close games in the SEC. Seems like week in and week out its overtime here, double overtime there. Granted, now that Alabama lost, no one has come forward as the juggernaut team of the SEC, claiming a BCS championship spot. Still, I think the conference has been tremendously entertaining this year.

Look at your huge comeback victory over LSU, the team that just knocked off 'bama and is likley headed to the SECCG. The Gators lost to LSU and 'bama, two rock solid teams, plus a hurtful loss to a very underrated South Carolina team. The LSU and S.C. losses were a score apart. Same with you guys in a lot of games.

I know you want more success out of your program. Same here. But for sheer fun and exciting finishes, I don't think anyone can hold a candle to the SEC this year.

I wouldn't call it a spanking. Gators led by significant margins in time of possession and yaradage. Gave up some big plays, though, and defense just didn't get it done.

I don't think the Gatornation is too critical of Meyer. He is a good coach and deserves some time (measured in at least a few years, not a few months) to get it done.

I will, however, say that I am furious at the coaching staff in general for not having the team ready to go on the field for the punt with, what's that pesky rule again? Oh, right. ELEVEN guys.

Not that the Gator O has shown the ability to march 85 yards in one minute. But it would have been nice to have the shot to tie it up. Whoever is responsible for making sure its 11 and not 12 out there really needs a stern talking to.

SEC has been very entertaining this yr. And as we all knew the East has gotten alot more tougher with Spurrier coaching his boys up.
I'm curious to see what Meyer comes up with with two weeks off to prepare for our most hated rival F$U. Beat them and it will be a successful season IMO.

I don't give us much of a chance. Although Bowden and his crew are mucking it up as the season widns down, they are still a faster bunch. Helps that the game is in G'ville, but I see us losing that one pretty bad, I'm afraid.

I dont..I do think however he'll go back to the more traditional I formation type offense than the spread for the Noles speed. Those lil shovel passes were pretty affective against them last yr in Doak though.

I noticed that Urban was giving the fullback some play yesterday.

Since the LSU game he's played Latsko alot more...mostly for protection issues, but it has helped the running game out alot more also.
