1.) Mizzou fans were class acts. Had several sitting around me and it truly was a pleasure chatting it up with them throughout the game. They all had great things to say about Knoxville, the campus, and Neyland stadium. Because of this I am definitely planning a trip to Columbia next year and return the favor.

2.) Our players fought hard the whole game. No complaints whatsoever about effort. I was proud of these young men!

3.) Dooley's decision to run that much time off the clock at the end to send the game into overtime will befuttle me for the rest of my life! With our D about as stout as exlax, how do you not give your offense a chance to win it for you at the end?? The boos in Neyland were pretty deafening.

#3 is the final nail in the coffin......anybody with a clue would know that OT would not be a happy ending for the VOLS

Regarding your #3- I have seen us make some stupid calls and I've seen us lose to some terrible football teams but that is the most embarrassing, chickens**t call I have ever seen in Neyland.

In reference to #3: Derek Dooley is a terrible football coach. He makes these types of decisions almost every game. We, the fans, should have expected this to happen.

All the people that wanted DD to fail should send Psawg and Colman thank you cards. How do you just turn lose the #1 wide freshman receiver in the nation.

# 3... Dooley did this twice in the game! The TV commentators were questioning his decision not to call a timeout during the last 47 seconds of the first half was deafening! I was questioning his "will to win" at that point. And this is why I have been lambasting his game management skills from the very first.

Dooley may become a pretty good coach someday, but he needs to learn to crawl before he tries walking. He should get some D-1A OC/DC experience... then HC at a D-III or II program... show some signs of success... and THEN apply for HC at a D-1A program. He is a smart guy, but he is just not D-1A material... at least not yet.

About # 1... Kinda makes you want to cheer for Mizzou whenever they're NOT playing the Vols. We have a number of Missou fans in the area where I live. They showed real class after the MU win... they didn't rub it in, though I was the only one there wearing BO&W. They agreed... with decent coaching and good game management, the game would not have been close... a definite UT win.

I'm no football strategy genious, but even I know winning in OT requires a half decent defense. I would have done what I could to win in regulation. Dumbest call I've ever witnessed.

 . Shout out to #35 for dropping that pick too. In all fairness, it was a great defensive call and the ball hit him in both hands, so what did you expect. Great job guys. You earned it.
And kudos to the offense for that explosive second half. All 7 points of it. Stuff of legends.

There is no excuse for not letting your gun-slingin' QB throw the ball to either of your #1 NFL WR (JH & CP) or 5th or 6th round WR (ZRo) not to mention the 4th or 5th round TE in Rivera - NO EXCUSES WHATSOEVER - especially with 2 timeouts on the Missouri 40. Dooley didn't give his team a chance to win. I've never - repeated - NEVER seen a coach do that.

I honestly believe he and Hart have had a conversation (prior to the game) and he knows he's done at the end of the season regardless of the season's outcome. Per speculation, but I can find no plausible excuse other than that (assuming mental faculties are working properly).
