So, he asked to reduce the payment amount from $500 to $99 but was rejected. But he apparently made a $99 payment that was accepted, huh?

They're probably surprised to get any money from the guy. If I was Auburn I would be much more insistent on getting those payments (if only for symbolic purposes), but apparently they're not too worried about it.
