A good first game.

Things that I liked. We have real good speed. The DL was great. OL did great. The running backs ran hard. Joe showed a little rust but ended up having a good game. Our place kicker looks to have strong leg. We are loaded at WR. Dee Williams is scary (to the opponent). Linebackers were good.

Things to worry about. Out punting was just not good. I can see us giving up a block or two this year. Our defensive backfield needs to jell.

It was a good start. There are lots of things that need to be cleaned up but I didn't see anything bad that is not fixable. We have the coach. We have the guys. I expect a much smoother game next week.

My biggest concern is that our secondary was tested very little, so glad we have another scrimmage next week. The good news is that the D front line did a good job pressuring their QB so that he really couldn't get set and test the secondary.
