a great number riding the wood

He may be riding the wood now, but it looks like he's being very observant. I'm sure just studying the defense and taking notes for when he gets his big break.

Was hearing on the radio the other day that due to issues with young peoples developing brains they should play flag football until the age of 12 or so before starting contact football.

That coupled with other things makes me agree.

Cheerleaders are the worst part about every level of football. I never understood the point. If you need assistance cheering on your team, perhaps you shouldn't be there.

Except high school...a couple of those girls were an integral part of my post game celebrations.

None of us like seeing that dad who is living vicariously through his 8-year-old son.

That's all youth cheer-leading is.

lot of truth in this statement,i have six grand kids all boys.
it has been very hard for me to let them do their own thing
and not impose my will at the things they do.

I've met some Vols cheerleaders. You could break bricks on their thighs, and they wouldn't bruise. You don't have to pay attention to them... I'm older. I like comely coeds in cheerleader outfits doing tumbling passes, aerials, and flirting with me a bit. Lead in the pencil.
