Scout.com says he is visiting Oct. 27. Penn St. is leading, but any shot we can get him. he runs a low 4.3 so we could really use his speed

He is very fast. But, "low 4.3" is a stretch. I think we have a decent chance with him since we are getting him on campus for a visit. But, I think he probably stays in the northeast.

We definitely have a shot since he is visiting, but he says he would like to play RB if he can. Penn State has a RB need, so he will probably go there.

A.J. is one of the fastest players in the nation having been timed consistently in the low (4.3’s). Alexander is a play-maker, he has great vision, once he gets a crease he is threat to score from anywhere on the field. He accelerates quickly and has elite type of elusiveness. He has an extra gear which most high school players don’t have.

Sounds like a carbon-copy of Coker. I'd really like us to pick up a big, bruising back, but this guy looks like a decent get.

Our coaches have always been good about keeping in touch and building relationships w/ recruits. That is one of the biggest ways we bring them in.

there's an article on Rivals that mentions Terrance Parks (Eric Berry's H.S. teammate) will take an unofficial this weekend to UT. He committed to FSU a while back.

I don't know if Alexander and the other guys were impressed or not, but they def. got a good game and a nice atmosphere.

Well, it apparently was extremely impressive to Alexander. Brent got him on the phone and, while he wouldn't say we lead, he did say the trip blew him away, that he will be bringing his mom down for a basketball game, and that he didn't wanna leave today. Sounds good for us, especially considering Brent has said before that he seems alot more enthusiastic when talking about UT than when he talks about PSU.

HV, do you honestly think we can get this guy? I didnt think we had a shot but your report sounds good for us

I think we can. If his mom likes UT as much as he does, I think we have a great shot.

As far as the position, I have no idea. The sad thing is that we tend to not find the right position with this type of player(Larkins, Tinsley, etc.). Hopefully, we find the right spot for him be it at CB, WR, RB, etc.

I think he would certainly get his first look at WR. I think he is a guy who you have to get the ball in his hands. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to see him at some position in orange and white.
