We should never hype the Jawjaw game. It goes to their heads. If you really want to irritate Jawjaw, I have decades of experience on how to do this properly.
1) Remind them Bama is a bigger game for us.
2) Remind them even Florida is a bigger game for us (no matter how bad they suck now).
3) Tell them you root for them usually, and don't hate them at all. (oh they hate this)
4) Tell them you think it's nice they've had this "little run" of going to SEC championship, and that maybe this year they can win it. (emphasize "maybe" and look away, bite your lip)
5) Tell them not to feel bad about only winning 1 of their last 6 showings at SECCG, that at least they got to try.
6) Tell them that people saying they choke a lot are just jealous but that this year you think they can win it. (look to the side afterwards like you don't beleive it)
7) Say you felt bad they didn't win the SECCG when they won the Nat Champ....that it was a shame.
8) Tell them your lowkey rooting for them this year to win SECCG this year if they beat us, because they deserve better then a hollow victory again after waiting so long since 1980.
Jawjaw's kryptonite is their lack of belief in themselves. Do not encourage any self respect on their part by telling them how this is the biggest game for us. Follow this sage wisdom of mine and the surrender cobras will show up in the first quarter....they can't help themselves. No one is more convinced they will choke then Jawjaw fans. Hit them right in the self doubt. Even if they are returning Nat champs, they are full of self doubt.
