A look ahead to next season

Nice read. It is always nice to see the way Pat's pieces always fall in place. She reloads each year. I think we will see another SECc and another final 4 run next year. It may take a little while to find the right players for each role but when Pat finds 'em we'll be rockin.

The high-flying Johnson said she has three dunks – one-handed, two-handed and off the backboard.

Pat says the court is her classroom, and that she loves to teach. Well, next season will challenge her, and I think it would result in good things. Fuller will have to step up as the only upperclassman on the team. Cait as a redshirt sophomore will be key too.

Be patient at the beginning of next season but by we get to the heart of conference season we'll be a contender against everyone

We know PS will hound them mercilessly to play defense and rebound--and why not--but scoring next year is sure to be a problem. PG could be an issue, too.

I'm not an avid women's basketball follower, but I've seen Glory Johnson play three times and she is amazing.

I tend to agree with Tennesseefan, they may not look like final four material out of the box, but will improve as they gain playing time. There is such a large transition from High school to college. With CPS putting so much emphasis on defense and rebounding, shooting can come along as it may, she will keep them in contention. It is easier to coach and learn defense and rebounding over shooting. They are skills that are not as dependant on natural ability as is shooting IMHO. I have a feeling of deja vu in that I think they may remind us of the National Championship team that went into the NCAAs with several losses a few years back. As usual the tough reg. season schedule will help prepare the team for the post season.

Scoring and the pg position should be the least of our worries playing defense and rebounding well thats something else but Pat will have them ready

Angie is going to need to brush up on her defense also.
