Out of the Vols roster, who do you guys think could possibly get drafted? i picked out a lot of players that have a chance, mainly the players that have proved themselves enough to have a shot.

I would project three first round draft picks:

1. Malehona
2. Allen
3. Riggs

In that order. I only project Riggs as first round based on what I think he will do this year, not what he did last year.

Being the prime back I think he can be top 5 in the nation in rushing.

I don't think any of the juniors or sophomores or freshmen you listed will go early. Just my opinion.

I don't think Toeaina will be drafted unless he has a banner year that he is fully capable of.

Neither Munoz nor Respert got drafted this year. He could surprise a lot of people this year for sure though.

Mahelona (1st rd)
Allen (1st rd)
Riggs (2nd rd)
Simon (2nd rd if stays healthy all year, he is that good)
Maecham (2nd rd)
Smith (3rd rd)
Hannon (3rd rd they will take a shot on his unlimited potential)
Haralson (4th rd)

Ainge is too far away to tell, but with health and steady growth he will be an easy 1st rd pick.

I think those are the guys that will definately go in the first 4 rounds. I think a number of those other players could sneak up into the 3rd or 4th rounds if they have really good seaons. Cory Anderson will get drafted kind of like Hannon as somebody with a wealth of untapped potential. A guy his size that moves like he does is rare to find.

I agree with the above for the most part, but if Meachem lives up to his potential (and he is well on his way) he could go first round. Haralson could go 3rd or maybe 2nd round with a big season, and while Simon has the ability to be a second rounder, his injury history may drop him a bit. I would also add Gaither to that list as a 3rd rounder or so. As for the original post, D. Mo has yet to play a snap and putting his name on the list is crazy, while I respect Clausen and think he is a capable College QB, there is no way in hell he gets drafted or even picked up as a free agent...he does not have the physical tools. If Jason White or Casey Clausen for that matter didn't get drafted Rick has no chance. I just hope he sticks around to help out as a grad. asst. There are several others on that list I would say will not be drafted, but I will stop here.
