A&M opts out

Doubt it hurts their recruiting or chances for making the playoff. Good move by a smart AD.

A&M recruiting was beginning to tank way before this announcement. With the mounting losses and dropping Oregon, it will be interesting to see if they can hold the 2015 class together. They've already had Damarkus Lodge (247 Composition 5* WR) decommit.

2016 could be a problem too. Word around Central Texas is that Eric Cuffie (247 Composite 4* CB) from Waco High is ready to recommit to Baylor which should vault the Bears back into first.

Baylor needs alot of defensive players from what I have seen - looks like Sunseri is the DC on most Saturdays

It will be interesting to see what has happened to TAMU this time next year. His players have tons of off the field issues, not to mention they are not very disciplined on the field either. The Defense has been very bad for a long time now, with no good excuse. If Texas gets it going in recruiting they might end up in a world of hurt.
I was convinced at one point Sumlin was a really good coach, now I am thinking their best game was beating BAMA 2 YEARS ago in a trap game, and that cotton bowl win over Oklahoma.

"tank" is a little harsh, but the representative from Waco is sadly correct.

This is not such a big deal to me since they replaced them with Clemson. A lot of pot banging going on about Eric Hyman bailing on this deal though. Perception of being scared is not a good look, but we don't have much of a positive perception right now anyway. Looking down the barrel of 7-5 is not a pretty sight.

Ok 6-6. Hell, we may not win another one. Who knows? Where are the tums?

I don't think it would get that bad. Three of the last four end in Ws is definitely possible. The meeting with LSU at the end of the year could determine who finishes next to last in the SEC West.

TAM still has weapons, if they are overlooked.

Please. You're staring at 8-4.

You guys should beat UL Monroe and Missouri at home.

Possibly 9-3 depending on how good or bad LSU actually turns out to be...but that game's in Texas, too.
