VN, Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family as you give thanks to God for how you've been blessed in all areas of your life. I just want to say that my day wouldn't be complete if I didn't say a heartfelt THANK YOU to my brothers and sisers here on VN. I'm fully aware that I'm one of the more negative posters on VN and rub alot of posters the wrong way. However, I am thankful for each one of you for making me laugh with great comments, gifs, pics, and many other posts. The mods can verify that I don't have a single poster on ignore, and that's because I appreciate what each poster brings to VN. There have been rough days on the job when a quick check on VN turns things around with a single thread - I love it!! And Thank you!! Everyone have a great day - Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I can honestly say I never agreed with you in the early days but have always enjoyed the entertainment and devil advocate role you have played. I too am thankful and especially thankful to brighter days on the hill! Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless to all, even the nonbelievers on the board!;-)

From 1 vol fan fan to many, may you have a blessed day and may our days to come b much more than the last few years as vol fans. As 1 of you guys said we're all vol fans and adversity brings even the small 1's out. The hill looks smaller to me and I hope it truly is for all vol fans. Love the family in your home and the vol nation and never forget the guys and gals serving over seas, I hope you guys stay safe and happy Thanksgiving to all.

I wonder how the atheist give their thanks on days like this? But anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to all Vol Fans everywhere & May GOD keep on blessing this great nation of ours. :salute:

Happy Thanksgiving everybody...Yes We argue with each other sometimes but We still have the best honor in the world, We are all VOL FANS and even through the hard times it is still the best thing ever!

The event that some Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in 1621. The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days, and was attended by 53 Pilgrims and 90 Native Americans. The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating "thanksgivings"—days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought, though the 1621 events were likely not a religious observation.

Am I the only one who read this whole thing waiting for it to turn out to be a trick and get really negative at the end? Lol. Well said, Fade. Happy Thanksgiving, Vol Family.
