This team would have folded at some point. Ugly but great win. That's the type of win good teams get. This team's starting to look like a good team.

That's what happens when you play together and never give up! We were beat in regulation & in the 1st 3 OTs & kept fighting & came back every time. Unreal effort by the Big Orange today! Baseball team beat #20 Az State 11-2 today as well. I said its GREAT to be a Tennessee Vol!

Against all odds, yes they are. Hard to believe this is the same team that played Georgetown, Georgia, and Virginia. I was convinced we were horrible.

I must give props to the Vols for tonight's win! It wasn't pretty and was "touch and go" most of the game but they pulled it out and got the W.

They have an even tougher game on tuesday but it should be a great atmosphere - maybe they can keep this run going.

Impressive win. Shows they are a mentally tough team.

Great, great point. And mental toughness is a direct indicator of coaching. We didn't get flustered after sort of blowing it at the end of the third OT. We kept at it and won in 4 OT instead. THAT IS COACHING. Period.

Take note, Martin haters.

We are playing a different style of ball than the team that played those games...and its made all the difference in the world...oh yeah...being healthy does HELP!!!!!

I am proud of this group. They are not quitting (and easily could have at the end of each of the first 3 OTs). They had to come from behind for the first 3 OTs, plus regulation, to tie it. A&M never had to play for the do or die situation in any of those. UT now has to face one of the top 3 teams in the nation on Tuesday. I hope they are not too emotionally drained from this one or it will be a blowout.

Well said sir. I couldn't agree more. CCM is getting about as much out of this team as anyone could, and probably more than most could.

If nothing else, Martin is a hell of a motivator. Teams takes on his persona- dont give up and play tough.

It's last year all over again. Hopefully we don't start off this slow again next year.

We cant lose and that is asking a lot, coming of a game like this, we got to stay with them the first half and if we do we will kick some gators azz tuesday night.

They are not out of the woods yet.

They could easily still finish .500 in conference.

I hope they do better - and by better - I mean win out. However that is a tall order with Florida and Mizzou looming large.

What I liked about this game/win, is the fact that we went into 4 OT's and came out each and every OT with the mentality of winning and never giving up. To the point that in the 4th OT we were still going hard, looked more conditioned, and ended up winning by 8 pts. We didn't just win by a score (2/3 pts) but ran away with it and won by 8 pts. It was also on another teams court. Where we won and how we won speaks volumes IMO. This was a big, big, win.

Compared to what we've seen at points this year, this game was absolutely beautiful. (minus the first 10 minutes)

Uhm the .500 was for the season not solely conference.
