A&M's New Facilities

Down here in Houston and deal with a lot of A&M boosters. The stadium will also be impressive eventually, but many are worried about how much of a cluster f this whole process is going to be and the fact that it may prevent some games or practices from taking place on campus over the next two years.

I've heard a few say that their slightly ahead of Brazil's construction schedule for the Olympics.

Were the guys from pimp my ride put in charge of this project? There is a tv in pretty much every surface. My only question: how many PS2s did they put in there?

Those are awesome. UT's are def nice, but I like A&M has done a better job at being more impressive overall. I have walked around UT's facility and the entrance to ours is not as impressive as A&M. I always thought they should of made it more open than what it is like.

They also have us beat when it comes to the hydrotherapy room. Unless UT has changed it in the last year, ours did not have anything special in that area when it came to lighting and graphics.

I will say that what I love about Neyland Stadium is that it is a symmetrical double deck complete bowl shaped stadium which is very unique to college football...It doesn't look like a stadium that was pieced together by expansion over a long period of time but rather the finished product of it's originally intended design...Kyle Field (and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium as well) looks like something that was just thrown together like an erector set. Sure, it will be huge and have a lot of modern amenities (which I am envious of) but it just looks weird.

I will admit that this kind of stuff appeals to recruits and parents alike, but for me, this is a little over the top.

Its an arms race when it comes to this kind of stuff. Glad to see the upgrade. Its a nice place.

WOW! I was watching the video screens and somehow I must of missed the highlights of the 2005 Cotton Bowl.
