King University in Bristol TN hosted an event with UT Legends. They had a dinner, clips from the 1998 National Championship season, stories from the group, a short Q&A session, and autograph session. The scheduled legends were Coach Fulmer, Al Wilson, and Peerless Price. It was announced at the beginning that Peerless Price had the flu and couldn't make it. But that Jeff Hall and Will Overstreet heard about it and came up to Bristol to fill the void. Thanks Jeff and Will for stepping up and being there for us, the fans! This was a very cool event. Thank you King University for hosting this event.

Love to hear about the continued honor for these guys who worked so hard so we could enjoy the game!

Also, it seems to me like these stories have been missing for like 3 or 4 years. It's time to make honor a part of being a VFL. The only way any kid will "get" the "tradition" that they always talk about is when they see with their own eyes that the community of VFLs are truly honored beyond just their time on the field.

So, I am very glad to hear how much the CBJ staff are using the word "family" and talking about being in it for the other guys. That builds a culture of honor and sacrifice.

Sweet, I'm sure that was fun to attend. Did they share any good stories? Also, Al looks like he has slimmed down. Maybe it was just the picture?

Yeah they told some good stories. Al relived his "blow up" at halftime of the Georgia game and how a chair may have been thrown. Jeff said he hated that he missed it because it happened after the kickers had left to start warming up. He could tell something had happened when everyone came out. He asked one player what coach had said and they were like, no it was Al!

Said it a million times since 98, we won the NC for two primary reasons:
