Why not wait until the end of the tourney to start the Bruce is better than _______? It's the best time of year for a lot of us; let's center the talk on Michigan and the tourney instead of the other issues that we'll be discussing as soon as the final horn blows on this season. Anyone wish to co-sign?

If Pearl is gone, I'd personally love for him to go out kicking and screaming and take out Michigan and Coach F-bomb in the process.

The title of your thread seems to differ from your purpose. Just because I think BP has done a good job or have differing opinions about personal attacks doesn't make me, and others, Pearl lovers. I'm as ticked as anyone at his recent decisions, including on the floor.

I started a thread to try to focus the discussion on basketball for the next few days. However, I'm sure that it will be woefully unsuccessful.

That's a fair criticism. Mods, could you change "Lovers" to "supporters" in the thread title, not that it will make a bit of difference.

I don't get it, can we not discuss both at the same time? Are we only capable of focusing on one topic? This is kinda like one of those threads that fans make to tell other fans not to look ahead to the next game and to only focus on the one at hand. What does it matter what fans talk about?

I just felt that it would make the board a little more enjoyable during UT's participation in the NCAA tournament. If you disagree, I'm pretty sure you can still fire up a "I support Pearl" thread or "Fire Bruce" thread.

In all fairness, both the "reveling in Pearl's dismissal (resignation, etc)" and the "No coach will ever win here again" crowds have the potential to reach critical levels of annoyance in the aftermath...

Fwiw, I'm for whatever needs to be done. All the other abusive junk is what makes this thing more difficult to deal with.

I agree with that. Both groups are out of whack. Gladly, I'm in neither.
