usually, people who play that position are kind of hybrids and play both fullback and tight end
The answer is (trumpet fanfare) NOBODY knows cause CBJ hasn't even worked with his team on what we have and how our players fit what he has in mind.
Suggestion (piano to tune of "Beats There A Heart So True") Sit back, wait and see what we will see what BJ has to show us.
What a shame. Back in the Vols' single-wing glory days, we used to recruit FBs by the dozens. They could play any position on Neyland's teams except tailback and wingback. They made fantastic pulling guards. For any of Neyland's positions, they had good size; they were athletic; and they had good speed. I really miss those days. How sad to be old with mediocrity.FB's are extinct
Will we be using a Full Back next year? If not, do we move our Full Backs to TE or LB?
