Despite the protestations of the Negavol contingent of the Big Orange Nation, I will be cheering our boys on tomorrow with every fiber of my being. Due to family circumstances, I have a deep, abiding contempt for Vandy that would have made Coach Cafego proud. As an oldtimer, I consider Alabama our preeminent rival but Vandy is for blood. My uncle was head baseball coach and a football recruiter at Vandy during the '70s.

For the last 40 years, I have had to listen to the snide, condescending verbal excrement of his family, regardless of the respective fortunes of our two programs. (Yes, Cafego accurately characterized the Commodore psyche on this point.) The irony of it all is that I had the academic pedigree to have attended Vandy on either the undergraduate or graduate level; they didn't. Personally, I need this victory to make Thanksgiving more tolerable.

General Neyland gave us the birthright to transform Neyland Stadium and Neyland West into "killing" fields, ones in which the Commodes slither off the field humiliated in defeat. We all know that our defense has been as porous as a sieve this season, but Bray, Hunter, Patterson and company are thoroughly capable of lighting them up. Let's cheer our gridiron gladiators on to victory tomorrow and spare ourselves the ignominious fate of defeat at their hands. Go Big Orange!!!

I had to turn down 2 free tickets the other day because I have to work. I'll, unfortunately, have to listen to it on the radio. If I could, I would be there LOUD and PROUD!!!

I'm sitting at the bar at Jimmy Kelley's right now about to eat. As always I'll be there tomorrow hoping against hope. I too cannot stand Vandy.

The title of this thread tells the story of just how far TN football is in the crapper under CDD.

That being said, yes it's time to circle the wagons and root like hell for the boys in orange Sat. Losing to UK last year and Vandy this year would be a level of sucktitude that I just couldn't hardly handle.

I was dating a young lady in high school and she was going to attend Vanderbilt. When her mother found out I was not going to college at the time she forbid her daughter from seeing me again. From that time on I hated anything to do with Vanderbilt.

The fact that these bottom feeding little homos are favored over UT is a testament to the garbage job Doolander has done this year. Shameful, disgraceful, and total blasphemy to the late and great General Neyland, may God Almighty bless him.

This will be my wifes first ut game tomorrow. She grew up in NC but has become a die hard vols fan. Unfortunately she has only known hard times as a vol fan. She has to hear it from all the bandwagon bama fans around here. Luckly we dont know any vandy fans lol. Anyway we will be there cheering our butts of for the big orange.

P.S. Where do most the Vol fans hang out before the game? Someone told me there is a bar called the Tin roof close by, that is a vols sports bar.

This is NOT about the coaches!

This is ALL about our footVOL players wearing the Big Orange on the field of battle!!!

Get to the game and turn that old, dilapidated stadium Tennessee Orange like we always do and be LOUD and PROUD to wear your Orange gear and cheer on our kids!!!

This game is for the State Championship of Tennessee and bragging rights for the next year and we do NOT want the commode doors to see much of anything except Tennessee Orange all over their crappy stadium!!!

Lets go boys, KICK their Candy butts HARD the entire 60 minutes!!!

VFL...GBO!!!

Sounds like maybe you hate Vandy more than you love the Vols...
