In 2006 and 2007 EA SPORTS made a college baseball game and every year around this time I break out the PS2 and update the UT roster.

Having a few days off from work for snow I'd like to do it tomorrow but I need some of you more informed members to give me an idea of our every day 9,top 4 or 5 bench players,3 weekend starting pitchers, our closer, and top 4 relievers.

Thanks in advance and the more who give their opinion the better roster I can make.

If you dont know the answer give me your best guess.

from memory I remember Adkins and maybe Hochever as great pitchers Borbon a very good outfielder also I think Christin Stewart outfield and Arencibia I think was all American as catcher I know he played for team USA but those are the ones I best remember also Yan Gomes seem to come in maybe in that time frame and I think is still playing in majors

If you’re talking about this year’s team, the following post and those around it should be helpful

After extensive research I ended up going with an every day 9 of Peebles,Burke,Moore,Antigua,Amick,Tears,Ensley, and Dreiling with Bargo as the DH.

I have Stark,Villeneuve,Chapman,Payne,Backus,Lohry, and Taylor as your best bench players.

I have Beam,Russell, and Sechrist as our weekend starters with Dallas and Garcia as our midweek starters.

I have in order from best to worst in our bullpen of Connell,Evans,Snead, and Causey with Connell closing.

One thing that I’ll guarantee, the starting 8 and rotation in Dallas won’t be the starting 8 and rotation come SEC play and it will more than likely change again mid SEC play. Lots of options the staff has, possibly too many but that’s a good thing!

You don't want to go into a slide as a pitcher or especially a fielder. Too many cut and paste duplicate guys will be sitting on the bench to take your place. Come to play every day. I will also agree that the lineup on Day 1 will be giving some guys a chance to lose a spot and then beginning of SEC will be who is hot and then toward the end it will change to who is hot then. Just know that for the past 5 years the hottest bat in fall was a bust in spring.
