A Super-Early Look at the 2014-15 Lady Vols

This season looks to be spectacular......Holly will have the luxury to experiment with many lineups.....Not sure there will be a set starting 5 anytime this season, more like a beginning 5...

Most of the players will see plenty of game time minutes. This team is built for the full court press, which will give plenty of minutes to spread around. Should be a happy group of ladies, and a variety of different high game scorers.

It is time for Graves and Jones to get their acts together on offense. They have been major liabilities on offense--Graves has no O game and Jones throws the ball to the other team with amazing regularity. These two simply need to be better when Vols have the ball.

Agreed. Cierra Burdick also needs to get her caca together or all of them should be riding the pine. No time for indecision or timidity. We need players who can score and not be hesitant to do so. These Ladies need to put their big girl panties on and represent. I want to see a tougher, more willful mentality by everyone on this team.

I'm not worried about Graves. She proved herself as a Freshman and just had to contend with injuries and a Sophomore slump. Plus, I think her play was scrutized too much based on lofty expectations causing the perception that she played worse than she actually did.

Jones on the other hand worries me. She has NOT proved herself and appears to be a great athlete lacking basketball IQ.

That is why UT doesnt go head to head for players often. Geno won't even talk to girls that lack killer instinct. I've heard it first hand from both Pat and Holly. They talk about how different it is coaching girls and how emotional they are. That's what they expect, that's what they get.

She's a good rebounder, but you can't be one-dimensional and expect to help your team. She needs lots more confidence with the ball and with her shooting.

Please tell me how do you know what girls Geno talks to. How many girls on the vols team do you think he has talk to? I will bet you its more than two. Geno girls are emotional as any girls in the country, I bet they cry like other girls. If you are going to hate on the lady vols at least do it with facts not opinions. You no opinions are like ????? everyone has one.
