For those of you that are wondering why we don't have any O-Line commits yet, hold your horses please. Final evaluations of prospects won't be done until after summer camps are completed and I am sure there is another 4* or 5* out there that hasn't been discovered so let's let it play out.

the problem is that we need 6 atleast...they need to get on it

Having OC Brown and Stone favor schools outside of TN scares me too

Star ratings seem like they'd matter less with this staff than most considering what they ask them to do.

Look after what this staff did this year with absolutley no time, I am not worried about them bringin in some talent at the O-Line next year. Give it time it will happen!

Thing is, we need to bring in about 3 guys that can contribute right away. I think we need about 6 total. The 6 can be done, but the guys that can contribute early are mostly committing early. I think a guy like James Carmon could help early at tackle. We need to find a legitimate LT in this class.

To be honest.. I thought most on here said the stars didn't mean anything anyway.. I'm sorry and I'm sure I will get dogpiled for saying it, but I am a little worried about our commit status so far.. I know about the arguement "that the coaching staff hasn't been together long enough", but that didn't seem to bother them when they pulled in the latest class of recruits (needless to say it was the one of the best in the country).... I realize some of the players were already in the stable under CPF, but not all of them were, the staff brought a lot of good ones in themselves.. I figured we would have multiple commits after the O & W game.. Again I am not bashing the staff I am simply stating that I am disapointed so far.. Hopefully it will pick up though.. I know everyone argues, but I still think the Boyd deal hurt us.. I know about being honest and all that, but younger kids don't see it that way.. I think they see it as we pull offers out from under folks.. and the timing on some of them were terrible, it really looked like Ut was string kids along (even though we know they weren't)... Let me say JMO before the dogpile begins...:)

Well there was this little thing called the no-contact period which hindered them somewhat. Plus, in the 3 months that Kiffin was here, he was focused solely on the '09 class. Everyone else had a head start. And as has been said numerous times, it's April.

I tend to think Douglas is our future at LT, but some legitimate guards would be nice, that is where we are hurting.

It is so early... I mean, only 32 of the Rivals100 have committed. We will end up with a solid class, and we will also have a better year this year than last year (both recruiting and on the field).

Anyone have any news about juco O-linemen we may offer. I know about Carmon but I thought he was a DT. Has he played the O-line since high school? I think we will need two juco lineman to help anchor the line after losing all the experience we lose after this year.

I could not agree more
