I guess all's well that ends well . . . but this whole deal has been bizarre.

On an interesting note, I googled the lawyer's name that is doing this, apparently the Louisiana Supreme Court has reprimanded this guy and made him take ethics classes. Who knows why he is doing this, probably making all the money back with tax breaks. Never trust a lawyer.

I am 90% sure it's him. He posts at tigerdroppings.com and says he lives in New Iberia. The intials and Jr. all match what is given for his office in New Iberia.

He did come on here and post that we would feel differently about him when we learned his purpose. IMO he is still a cretin though. He could have come on here and other boards and solicited donations just like the one that is PINned in The Pub and not been such a jackass towards Vol football.

Exactly what I was thinking. I understand his plight, but there were probably 100 better ways to go about it.

The child and family have my sympathy. My question is if his family is living pay check to pay check would his child not qualify for TennCare?
I have had good experiences with attorneys I've hired so I can't knock all of them.

Why couldn't he have taken a midol or got some vaginal cream instead?

A lawyer AND a gator. You've got trustworthiness issues that are uniqely your own. :D

You've been sorta quiet lately LawG....

No, no, I've been around. Truth is, I don't feel like I know as much about b-ball as football (not that I'm, an expert in that, either). So I probably SHOULD have less to say.

Story ended well for Steve and his son. Am most happiest for his son William. Am most dissapointed in Steve. PimpDaFan got lucky on how this turned out. In the end, he is still a fan who turned his back on his team.

Steve started out being a disgruntled Vol fan seeking attention. I think once he realized that he looked like a fool, he changed his mind about the whole situation. I hope that he has a great time with his son at the bowl game.

Yes yes. They will have fun and doubtless he will wind up on TV aain being interviewed as the fan who sold his UT loyalty on ebay. All at a time when we do not need bad PR interfering with recruiting efforts. I do hope they have fun though.

If he told us that it was for his kid in the first place perhaps he would have gotten lesser insults at him.

I would of still insulted him. He is a jerkoff that abandoned his community to exploit the situation the Vols are going through right now for money. It's sad for him to have a son that has autism, but there are thousands of others in his same situation that aren't doing anything negative to their community.

The sad thing is that he lied and misled people and even embarrassed the University.....one hell of a way to help raise money for a child in need.

Don't think he did it for his son. Think it worked out that way for him. For his kid's sake I hope they have fun. For him, what goes around comes around. Think the Vols will turn it around and he'll have a LSU jersey with his name on it.
